Happy and healthy Easter for you and your furry friends

 

Welcome to our April magazine.

While we give you plenty of Easter inspiration with an ‘Easter Brunch Meal Plan’, and a special ‘Easter Baking: Recipe Bundle’, we are happy to welcome Adele McConnell from ‘Vegie Head’ to share some animal wisdom. Adele will share some information regarding keeping your dogs healthy and happy, through natural and nutritious means, as well as some recipes “doggy” homemade recipes for you to try and for your special friend to taste-test.

However, don’t fret (!!) there are pages of gorgeous plant-based recipes for humans as well!!

Thanks to Animal’s Australia for sharing delicious recipes from their new cookbook ‘Taste For Life’, which is a fabulous read. Full of inviting recipes that are easy and quick to put together, whilst also gently reminding the reader why having a plate full of plants is such a beneficial and kind choice for our furry companions.

Kathy Ashton (our expert on wholefood plant-based eating and living) turns her attention to the power of Flax and Linseeds in this issue, sharing how the incredible benefits kept in these power pockets can help you in your diet.

We also welcome our new on-going contributor Bronwyn Bennett, to our pages as she shares her knowledge on “Healthy living in the home”. This is an area of knowledge we have been meaning to share for some time now, so we are thrilled to have an expert on board who can clue us all in on what we can do to ensure the environments we spend the most time in, are doing us a service, as opposed to harm.
